You'll have the opportunity to practice your skills on the range and get personalized feedback from your instructor.

We highly encourage students to bring their own firearms but not required. We have firearms for rent for an additional fee.

Note: This course is a pre-requisite to our Level 2 courses. (or must have proof of a basics course)

Student requirements for class:

  • Closed toed shoes, pants, and weather appropriate clothing

  • Ballcap (recommended)

  • Ballistic eyewear / Prescription glasses

  • Ear Protection (over ear preferred)


  • Your own Firearm of any caliber (recommended)


  • 100 rds or more of ammo recommended

  • If using a revolver it cannot be used if you can push the hammer forward with your thumb while in the cocked position.

  • Note taking material (optional)

  • Snacks and Drinks (optional)


  • Holster capable of defeating gravity if held upside down
